What is Circle of Security?
Circle of Security is a clinical parenting program rooted in attachment practices and focusing on relationships between caregivers and children. It is delivered through 8 chapters with the use of short video clips outlining attachment principles and providing opportunities for parent reflection. This program provides families with a framework to better understand the emotional needs of their children which is often communicated through behavior.
Who is this for?
- Families parenting children between 0-9 years of age.
- Any caregiver with full or partial custody of caregiving responsibilities.
- For families whose children are experiencing anxiety, temper tantrums, depression, destructive behavior, or concerned with exceptionally quiet, and/or withdrawn behavior.
